Say it.
It's typed.
Double-tap Ctrl anywhere, talk, double-tap again. The text lands where your cursor is: ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Slack, anywhere. Nothing leaves your Mac.
Three taps.
No wake word, no window to switch to, no account. Talkloom lives in the menu bar and types into whatever is in front of you.
Tap·Talk·Typed·Yours
Double-tap Ctrl.
Either Ctrl key, twice. Talkloom is listening.
- no wake word, no button to find
- choose another key or a shortcut in Settings
- a sound and a menu-bar dot confirm it
Say the whole thought.
Ramble. Mix Korean and English. Name your variables.
- Whisper large-v3-turbo on your Mac’s GPU
- long prompts come back in about a second
- your own vocabulary passed as a hint every time
Under your cursor.
Double-tap again. The text lands where you were typing.
- pastes into any app, then restores your clipboard
- repeated words and hallucinated tails are cleaned
- nothing is sent anywhere. ever.
No subscription.
One purchase per Mac. Updates for a year. Works forever.
- the version you have keeps working after that year
- move the license to a new Mac from Settings
- nothing to cancel
Prompts are private.
Audio never leaves the Mac.
Client code, unreleased ideas, people’s names. Cloud dictation uploads all of it. Talkloom runs the entire model locally, so there is nothing to upload and no account to create.
Works in every app.
Not a browser extension. A menu-bar app that pastes into any text field: terminals, IDEs, chat apps, forms.
Knows your words.
Add product names and jargon once. They are passed to the model as a hint on every transcription. Nothing is trained or stored elsewhere.
99 languages, auto-detected.
Speak Korean, English, Japanese, or switch mid-sentence. Pick a language for best accuracy or leave it on auto.
Cloud apps upload your voice.
The recommended model is a 574 MB download, once. Smaller models are there for older machines. Switch any time in Settings.

Honest answers.
Is it really offline?
Yes. The speech model is downloaded once and runs on your Mac's GPU. The only network calls are the model download and a license check when you activate. Audio is never sent anywhere.
Which Macs does it run on?
macOS 13 or newer on Apple silicon (M1 and later). Intel Macs are not supported yet.
How accurate is it?
Talkloom runs OpenAI's Whisper large-v3-turbo, the same family used by paid cloud services, on your machine. Accuracy depends on your microphone; a built-in or USB mic beats Bluetooth headsets.
Can I use it in Cursor, the terminal, or a browser?
Anywhere you can paste. Talkloom is a menu-bar app that types into the frontmost app, so IDEs, terminals, chat apps and forms all work.
What happens after the year of updates?
Your app keeps working exactly as it is. You only pay again if you want newer versions after that.
I got a new Mac. Do I buy again?
No. Deactivate the license in Settings on the old Mac, then activate on the new one. If the old Mac is gone, email support and we will move it.
Windows?
It is on the roadmap after the Mac version settles. Leave your email on the download page and we will let you know.
